Growing up is hard, and the teen years for girls are especially challenging in our current times. With the development of social media, filters, and our beauty culture, pressure on girls to look a certain way is at an all time high.
Girls may compare how they look to other girls and think they fall short, they may get bullied, or have problems academically or socially.
Their self-esteem may suffer, they may develop a negative body image, depression, anxiety, negative self-talk, and more.
I provide a safe space for them to open up and just be themselves. I help them to accept themselves just as they are and to celebrate and love themselves.
I specialize in using cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing with teens. I meet them where they are, and have a wide variety of techniques to use to help them cope with and overcome whatever challenges they face.
Family sessions with parents are welcome. Enhancing communication and connection between parent and teen can be just what is needed for your teen to thrive. You are an important part of their life too.
If your teen is struggling, feeling lost or alone, having relationship issues, self-esteem issues, academic struggles, not feeling good enough, experiencing anxiety, depression, phobias, PTSD, and more then I invite you and/or your teen to reach out to me to schedule a complimentary 20 minute phone consultation. You can text or call me at 386-968-2032. I look forward to hearing from you.
