As a woman, I do have first hand knowledge of the female experience in our society. We are not the dominant group in power, and so much of what we experience reflects that. We are not always treated like we are powerful or capable or strong. Sometimes we are taken advantage of, victimized, belittled, criticized, called the “weaker sex”. We sometimes have to work twice as hard not just externally but sometimes internally too.
It is unfortunately common to internalize our society’s, our culture’s, and our family’s beliefs about women and what we are and are not capable of. That is not our fault, but as an adult it is our responsibility to raise our awareness, increase our insight, identify all these disempowering thoughts and beliefs, and dismantle them one by one, knocking down the walls that have been put between us and our dreams, forging our path one step at a time, gaining momentum, and becoming who we always were, the heroine of our story.
The truth is that we are powerful beyond measure and capable of achieving our dreams. Sometimes we need a little help to get there, and that’s okay. You shouldn’t have to do it alone. Let me help you build yourself back up again and achieve your dreams, and encourage you every step of the way.
I have personally overcome PTSD, panic attacks, depression, post-partum depression, low self-esteem, anxiety, and codependency issues.
